Vector Illustrations plays an important role in the modern web and mobile applications. They can add unique tone and branding elements to the product. Illustrations offer a range of creative components which not only improves the branding but also helps in effective visual communication.

I agree, customized illustrations are the BEST for your brands and projects. But there are times where you don’t have resources or time to create your own illustrations. There comes these free illustrations libraries for rescue.

Open Peeps

Open Peeps is a unique illustration library with hand-drawn Illustrations. It was created by Pablo Stanley, who is a product designer at Lyft and previously Invision Studio. The library works like building blocks made of vector arms, legs, and emotions. You can mix these elements to create different Peeps. Open Peeps comes with two variants – Multicolor and Monochromatic. You can use Open Peeps in product illustration, marketing imagery, comics, product states, user flows, personas, storyboarding, invitations, or anything else not on this list. Freepik is the largest and most widely used illustration marketplace. You can get both free and premium illustrations in Freepik. You can access most of the illustrations for free by adding proper credits to the creator. Apart from illustrations, Freepik also provides Stock photos and mockups.
